JavaFXLightBulb is a java applet that shows a light bulb that can be turned on or off.
It allows the users to configure the power of the light that the light bulb delivers, by using a sliding control that will give more or less power to the bulb.

You can install this program in any Operating System, since it is written in Java, so it is a multi-platform application. As you will need to have the JavaFX Desktop Runtime installed in your system if you want to run this program, its installer will verify if you have this runtime. If this is not the case, the installer will download it from Sun Microsystem´s servers, and will install it in your computer.

It seems that the only purpose of this program is to show the capabilities of the JavaFX Desktop Runtime, since all you can do is watch the light bulb on, off or dimmed. On the author´s website there are other programs that explore other commands that the runtime can use. Unfortunately, the author did not include comments about these utilities, either.
